I’m Moi Marquez, a young Educational & ​Awareness Content creator from Dubai turned ​Global Change Ambassador at RoundTable ​Global and their UK non-profit charity called The ​Legacy Project

We help young people who are passionate about ​a cause turn their visions into action with our ​mentorship and collaboration with young ​leaders and partnered network of organisations ​worldwide for free.

When I was little, I didn’t like school. It was only until I began learning outside of tests and grades that I realised the world was an interesting place in ways the classroom never showed me.

At 15, I was taking notes and sketching drawings in my notebook about flowers, history, marine life, and stars; taking apart things, and eagerly researching over the summer like a child seeing the world for the first time: How does this work? Why does this happen? What’s the history and origins of that? What can I come up with to help this cause?

That’s when I realised education was more than a passing grade, but exploring the world, growing as a person, and using that knowledge to make a positive difference. I don’t just want to address issues, my mission is to bring a new generation of teens who feel empowered to start their own work too.
